Confidence Isn’t a Personality Trait — It’s a Result
A lot of people believe confidence is something you either have or don’t.
But that hasn’t been my experience — in life, or in photography.
Confidence is usually a byproduct of action.
You do the thing.
You survive it.
You see yourself differently afterward.
That’s it.
Boudoir as a Practice, Not a Personality Test
I don’t expect you to walk in fearless. Boudoir isn’t about proving that you’re confident. It’s about practicing showing up — even when you’re not.
That’s where the real shift happens.
Not during the shoot.
Not during the reveal.
But later — when you remember that you did something brave, and nothing bad happened.
Why This Matters
Confidence built this way lasts.
It doesn’t depend on validation. It doesn’t disappear the next time you have a bad day or feel disconnected from your body. It’s rooted in experience.
And that’s why boudoir photography can be so impactful — not just as images, but as a memory of who you were when you chose yourself.
